
Dr. Shailey is a chiropractor with a passion for both sports performance and everyday care. She holds a degree in Life Sciences with a focus in Origins of Disease from McMaster University and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
With over seven years of experience as a trainer for competitive ice hockey and soccer teams, she has built a strong foundation in sports therapy and rehabilitation. Dr. Shailey takes pride in offering well-rounded, individualized care to all ages; whether someone is chasing a puck, lifting groceries, or just trying to get through the day without aches and pains. Dr. Shailey uses a combination of diversified adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, modalities, functional assessments, exercise prescription, and acupuncture.
She is a member of the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association and the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic. She has completed additional certifications through the Canadian Chiropractic Guideline Initiative and the University of Calgary’s MOOC initiative, with a focus on concussion education.
Dr. Shailey also works as a research assistant with the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences Canada, contributing to qualitative research exploring how professional athletes experience therapeutic care.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, traveling and trying new food, and the occasional outdoor competition with her younger brother.
Now practicing in Lindsay, she’s excited to support the local community through patient-centred, evidence-informed care.
